MAN DIED: “For as in Adam all die, …” (1Cor. 15:22)
MAN PLUNGED INTO DARKNESS: “…and the whole world lies in wickedness.” (1John 5:19)
MAN’S REDEMPTION MADE POSSIBLE: “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.’ ((1Cor. 15:22)
FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:16,17)
FOR BELIEVERS, WHETHER DEAD OR ALIVE, GOD’S REDEMPTION AWAITS: “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1Thess. 4:14-17)
FOR BELIEVERS THERE IS NO SECOND DEATH: “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” (Rev. 20:6)
FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE: “…but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” (John 3:18-19)
FOR UNBELIEVERS, WHETHER DEAD OR ALIVE, GOD’S WRATH AWAITS“…and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him.” (John 3:36)
“And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;” (2Thess 1:7-9)
FOR UNBELIEVERS THERE IS A SECOND DEATH: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Rev. 21:8)
GOD GAVE MAN CUSTODY OVER THE EARTH: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Gen. 1:26-28)
MAN’S CUSTODY OVER THE EARTH GAVE HIM FREEDOM OF CHOICE – WHETHER TO BELIEVE OR NOT TO BELIEVE THE GOD WHO GAVE HIM FREEDOM OF CHOICE: SO, THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH IS A MATTER OF CHOICE.
