The nation of South Africa – and every nation in the world – is captive to the Babylonian system of politics, commerce, social behaviour and religion. It is a system in rebellion against, in rejection of and at war with the Supreme Ruler and Creator of the Universe. Babylon, in effect, is a dark spiritual force known as “Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth.” (Rev 17)
Babylon is also referred to as “that great city Babylon, that mighty city!” in Rev 18:10. This spiritual city has a death grip on the world and its human inhabitants.
Now here lies the mystery. The spiritual city with the death grip on the world is evil. Its reign over the inhabitants of the Earth has transformed the world into the literal version of itself. In other words, the Earth has become the literal expression of spiritual Babylon. Yes, so steeped has the world become in the evil sown by its unseen master that Earth is regarded as an extension of that city – and the world is oblivious to this reality.
The Babylonian system has passed on a dictum to its terrestrial captive. It reads, “We shall separate Church and State and resolve earthly issues without interference from God. Furthermore, we shall have freedom of religion enshrined in our constitution regardless of the origin of such religious faiths. We do not consider the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as the only God that we need to serve as a nation.”
The grand master of the spiritual kingdom of darkness is Satan. He has succeeded in turning Earth into a den of iniquity, bringing disease, depravity, corruption, destruction, war and death to all the creatures made in the image of God. He has established false religions, infiltrated Christian churches, controls governments and world commerce and is in charge of the media and entertainment industries. The amazing irony of it all is that he has used the minds of men to accomplish this.
And the South African government (and all the governments of the world) has embraced the dictates of this Babylonian system of darkness – an abomination and affront to the Supreme Creator and Ruler of the Universe, the God “in whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind” (Job 12:10)
If the Owner of the Universe had to make an opening statement to all the governing politicians elected to sit in their assemblies, it would be this, “The earth is the LORD’S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” (Ps 24:1)
How dare puny little man defy the Mighty Creator God as if he had a legitimate option to ignore the very source of his life? This is the God that “If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath; All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.” (Job 34:14,15)
Again, how dare the governments of this world remove God from the livelihood of the people they serve by severing Church and State when their very own existence came about as a result of a creative act of God? “The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, says the LORD, who stretches forth the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him.” (Zec 12:1)
God has this to say to every politician breathing air on this planet. “Before I formed you in the belly I knew you;” (Jer. 1:5)
Note, that even before every person was conceived, God knew them and, therefore, had to have planned their conception and entry into this world. But politicians are saying that the Creator of everything that exists has no say over the affairs of man. How stupid can one get? It goes to show just how deep human society has sunk into the dung of Babylonian captivity.
It is for this reason that God entered the world in the form of flesh to rescue a condemned human race. By the very Word that created all things we were saved from eternal damnation through the crucifixion of the Word of God, that is, Jesus Christ. God substituted His Word for the human race and paid the penalty for our transgressions. We were translated from darkness into Light and were set free from the captivity of the Babylonian god of this world, but the world abstains from this Truth.
“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” (John 3:17-19)
Several political parties in South Africa have the word “Freedom” forming part of their party name. What kind of freedom are they seeking for those they are representing? They only need to be set free from the Babylonian system and someone has already done that for them. That someone is Jesus Christ. And with this freedom they can accomplish anything, but they prefer to ‘fight’ for some imagined, pie-in-the-sky freedom. “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36)
Humankind has been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb and those who believe are reconciled to God. There is no other means of salvation and no other way to God. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)
And God says, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:” (Ex 20:3,4)
But our constitution, in essence, says, “Let’s have lots of gods and do not use the name of Jesus Christ in Parliament so as not to offend the worshippers of all the other (false) man-made gods.” This is tantamount to shaking a fist at God in rebellion to His command.
God wants and needs our focus of attention to be on Him and Him alone – not on all the fake man-made religions of the world, so that we may live in the joy and fullness of all that He wants to provide for us at home, in the workplace and in government. And He has made it easy for us to receive from Him through Jesus Christ, who fulfilled all of God’s laws for us so that all we need to do is follow Jesus Christ, “:for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)
The Father has given all authority, covering Heaven and Earth, to Jesus Christ. He is the Highest Authority there is. We can do nothing and can achieve nothing without Him. “And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” (Matt 28:18)
If we take all of the above into consideration. how on earth can separation between Church and State be justified?
What should be embedded in our constitution is the following:
Col 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Col 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
Col 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
Col 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
And to that we can add: “BLESSED IS THE NATION WHOSE GOD IS THE LORD;” (Ps 33:12)
So what is the Government of South Africa to do in order to bring about an overnight miracle in this land? Jesus Christ is standing at the entrance to Parliament, saying,
“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou may see.
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” (Rev 3:17-20)
Repentance is the first step – followed by an unashamed use of the name of Jesus Christ in Parliament and the halls of Government. That NAME should reverberate throughout this nation. Those who wish to serve to serve man-made and Satan-inspired religions should be allowed to do so without fear of reprisal from Government or society at large, but they should do so in the privacy of their own homes and places of assembly.
There should be only one Name on the lips of those serving this country. And the whole world should know it.
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9-11)
Parliament is the epicentre of the ways of the nation it serves. The governing party should take the lead and declare its decision to serve the Highest Authority there is. In other words, they should say so in no uncertain terms. “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so.” (Ps 107:2)
If we, as a nation, want to be cleansed of all our ills and prosper in everything we do, then we should take this bold and giant step without delay. It should be a top priority. The rest of the world will look upon us and say, “Let us go down to that nation in the southern tip of the world and learn from them. We want what they have.”
There is a whole lot more to add. Watch this space.
