Did you know that you are on the wanted list along with every person on this planet? And did you know that God wants you off that wanted list?
You are a target
If you are not a Christian it is very likely that you are unaware that you are being targeted to become a “secret agent” for the purpose of detrimentally influencing the lives of others while others are being similarly engaged to do the same to you. For a very good illustration of this activity simply watch any soap opera on tv where actors go about the business of destroying each other. Many will say that soap operas are just a reflection of life, which is exactly what I’m trying to get across. Those actors are portraying real life on this planet and viewers are being indoctrinated to act similarly. Fear, hatred, vengeance, jealousy, gossiping and slandering are some of the trademarks of a person assigned to carry out his/her “secret agent” activity.
What does this have to do with being on the wanted list? Whether you want to believe this or not, the wanted list belongs to Satan and he wants every living human to live like those soap opera actors as a means to bring about the destruction and death of the human race. In other words, while we’re alive he wants to use us against each other until our stress levels bring about ill health and consequential death, whether by foul play, accident or so-called natural causes. He first wants us while we’re alive and then he wants us dead. He cannot come against us directly. He can only bring about our demise by using us against each other.
Your fruits
What about Christians? Well, there are Christians who once were Christians and still think they are Christians, but their fruits say otherwise. You will find that they are no different than those working full steam for Satan. They gossip, slander, meddle and continually find fault with others on behalf of Satan. They are especially useful to Satan against real Christians. He wants to destroy the testimony of the latter, hoping they would capitulate and give up their faith.
God wants us off this wanted list and the only way we can come off that list is by being a follower of Jesus Christ. How does one become a follower of Jesus Christ? There is only one way – and that is to die. What do I mean? Well, let me tell you that you cannot be a follower of Jesus Christ until you die first. Die how? On the Cross.
Jesus said, “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This he said, signifying what death he should die. (John 12:32,33)
Note that He said that He “will draw all men unto me.” This means that you will not be ready to die unless you come to the Cross. It is an open invitation. What is it that will draw you? The Truth will draw you. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6).
Die in order to live
If you want to come to the Father then it means you have to die on that Cross in Jesus and rise again from death in Jesus. Yes, if you want to live anew you have to die first. This will take you off that wanted list. Like Paul, you will be able to say, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Gal 2:20)
Imagine that, living “by the faith of the Son of God”. That’s living with a huge amount of faith. You will have died and become a new creation, erased from Satan’s wanted list. Does that mean that Satan cannot get you back on that list? Of course he can, but if you live by the faith of Jesus and remind yourself daily that you died and rose again in Christ then the agents of Satan (non-Christians and fallen Christians alike) will find it very difficult to deceive you. This is why Jesus said, “Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” (Mark 8:34)
The only way you can deny yourself is to remind yourself of that Cross where you died, which is the act of taking up your cross.
So, ironically, it seems that Satan wants us dead so that we can live forever in hell – and God wants us dead so that we can live forever in Christ in heaven and wherever He goes.
Have you been drawn to the Cross yet? If so, are you taking up your cross daily?
“If then ye were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.
Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth.
For ye died, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” (Col 3:1-3)
