The Word of your Power

Did you know that if you said nothing all day, on any given day, you would accomplish absolutely nothing? Of course, you might be alone all day and you could be physically active without saying a word and you would certainly still accomplish something, in which case you would have done so by an intellectual process. This means that you would have used unspoken words, also known as thoughts. Your thoughts (unspoken words) are what make you decide to make a cup of tea, wash your car, write a letter or do anything that causes you to physically move. In other words, you are motivated by either unspoken words (thoughts) or spoken words by which to accomplish whatever you need to or want to accomplish.

We often hear the expression, ‘the power of the word’, being used to signify that the power of words can either be destructive or constructive for the purpose of achieving objectives, especially in political circles.

As reader you probably will have noted that the title of this article reads, “The Word of your Power” and not ‘The Power of your Word’. Once you grasp the significance of the reversal of this expression your understanding of the awesome power within you will take on a whole new meaning. The power within you is dynamite and that dynamite is contained in and released by every word you speak, hence the ‘Word of your Power’.

Imagine that the source of the power that created the entire universe is located within you and that the key used to unleash that power is also secured within you. That key is faith! Now guess what the catalyst for the employment of that faith is so that the power within you can explode out of you. It is your word – the word of your power. The word of your power makes that power work and your word uses the key of faith to unlock the door to that power.

However, without the necessary faith to engage that awesome power your words will be empty and void of accomplishment. We speak incessantly about our needs and wants (a new job, a new car, etc), totally unaware that our words take to the air in the form of powerless pieces of conversation because of the lack of faith.

Only once you know that you possess the necessary faith will you be able to take the reins of that awesome power within you and by your word speak out the desired results. Your faith will do the work just like a golf club does the work when a golfer swings at the ball. The golfer knows that only his club will bring about the desired effect. Without his club the golfer has nothing to swing with and his ball remains stationary, no matter what the golfer has to say about it. Without faith you have nothing with which to launch your power and your power remains where it is – within you, no matter how much your word comes out of your mouth.

Faith is a thing of substance that arranges the evidence of what you require and then presents it to you. Your word will have provided the blueprint for that evidence to your faith. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Heb 11:1)

So we see that your word loaded with faith will rein that power within you and ride it to the place where you want the evidence to be constructed and to be transported to your doorstep.

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says.” (Mark 11:23)

The above verse of Scripture makes it clear that you will have what you say if you believe what you say.

You were created in the image and after the likeness of God (Gen. 1:26) and He gave you dominion over everything on this planet. You lost that power, but it was restored to you when Jesus died on the Cross. You now have power even beyond that because of the Holy Spirit residing in you. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John 1:12)

Speaking of Jesus, Hebrews 1:3 tells us that Jesus is “upholding all things by the word of his power.” Having been created in the image and after the likeness of God, we also operate by the word of our power over material things on earth.

As a son or daughter of God you possess a dynamite package and whatever exists on this earth is accessible to you by the word of your power as affirmed in Ephesians 3:20. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”

The wealth in this world is mostly in the hands of the wicked – the unjust. As a son or daughter of God you have been made just and as such you possess the necessary qualifications to acquire what you need by the word of your power within you. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:  (Rom.5:1)

Being justified means that you are more than just a good man or woman. “A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just” (Prov. 13:22)

If Christ is in you then you should be living in abundance and the wealth in this world is laid up for you. You don’t need to seek abundance in heaven, but you do need and can have an abundance right here on earth, which is exactly what Jesus said. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

The thief (Satan) has been stealing from you by blinding you to the faith already given to you.

Now that you know that you have faith, let it accompany the word of your power and haul in the abundance already in existence out there. Not convinced? When you order a cup of coffee in a restaurant you do so by speaking out your word.  Pretty soon the coffee is delivered to you. What happened? Your word went to the kitchen and brought you the substance of what you requested while the source, your word, remained with you. Now listen to this, spoken by the Word of God, Jesus Christ. “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11)

When you became a Christian Jesus took up residence within you by the power of the Holy Spirit. This means that the mind of Christ is active within you. “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” (Php 2:5). Would this be said if it weren’t possible? Well, it is fact. “But we have the mind of Christ.” (1co 2:16)

If that’s not enough, then hear this. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” (John 14:12)

The “works” include the use of the word of your power by faith and your word shall not return to you void “but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”

Now go ahead and act on the Truth that is within you. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)

Let the words of your mouth count.

People; activated mounds of clay standing erect in this world

After the first man, Adam, was formed by the Potter from the clay of the ground, he lay motionless, void of consciousness and totally lifeless. And then he became activated by the Potter.

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”(Gen.2:7)

Suddenly, Adam possessed something called life – imparted to him by the Potter. This life, the Breath of Life, empowered Adam’s body of bone, flesh, sinews, blood to be set in motion and take on a consciousness of life and existence as a living human being. Speaking of his spirit (“me”), Job described it as follows.

“Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.” (Job 10:11)

The Potter then took a piece of Adam’s activated (formerly clay) body and shaped a female version of Adam from it. She was named Eve. Now there were two activated mounds of clay in the shape of human beings. Both possessed part of the Potter Himself – the Breath of Life.

These first two human beings, made in the likeness of the Potter, were delighted with their beautiful surroundings and thrilled to be in fellowship with their Maker. Their innocence soon became corrupted by an evil spiritual force which plunged them into a state of spiritual death and physical deterioration. This condition they passed on to their offspring – the rest of mankind now living while they are dead. “But she that lives in pleasure is dead while she lives.” (1Tim.5:6)

Today we have over 7 billion activated mounds of clay in a state of spiritual death and physical deterioration of which only a remnant have been spiritually revived through acceptance of and belief in what transpired on the Cross through Christ Jesus.

The billions of activated mounds of clay who now live in rejection and defiance of the source of their consciousness as living human creatures realise that they are living on borrowed time, but they have not given any serious thought to what lies beyond that borrowed time. “And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” (Gen. 6:3)

That time has been decreased to only seventy years – or slightly more. “The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.” (Ps 90:10)

One could quite rightly say that every activated mound of clay is on a brief stopover on Planet Earth. But what lies beyond that stopover? For those who have not yet appropriated their salvation through Jesus Christ can expect their condition of spiritual death to continue once their earthly stopover has been completed. They will go from stopover on earth to eternity in a place totally removed from the presence of the One who activated their human existence. “And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;” (2Thess. 1:7-9)

The above speaks of those who manage to remain on stopover by the time God puts an end to all stopovers. However, the same judgement applies to all whose stopover ends before the final hour.

It should be borne in mind that every activated mound of clay never gets deactivated. It is only the clay part that is shed, but the spirit part moves on to the designated place, which is either heaven or hell. “And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.” (Mark 9:47,48)

So what is the bottom line to all of the above? It’s actually quite simple and easy to understand. Make a choice while you’re on stopover in your activated mound of clay.

This is the desired choice:-
“Dear Father God in Heaven. I believe that Jesus took my sins upon Himself and died in my place and rose again on the third so that I may live. Dear Lord Jesus. Come into my heart and direct my life as my Lord and Saviour.”

It’s that easy – provided you meant every word of the above. From now on you’ll no longer be dead while you live and your stopover will be a transition from life to life and not from death to death.

The Two Sources of Motivation for Humanity

Whoever reads this article from top to bottom should know exactly where they stand in life. It then purely becomes a matter of choice.

So many people misunderstand the tenor (gist, meaning) of the need for salvation from their fallen state of existence and, therefore, continue in a mode of indifference to something that is of crucial importance. This article serves to progressively break down such a wall of resistance by offering a clear but concise explanation of the underlying principle that necessitates our deliverance from the mess we all find ourselves in.

Let’s begin by pointing out that the design for our behavioural pattern was ‘locked and loaded’ shortly after man was introduced to Planet Earth. This behavioural pattern had two sources of motivation.

For a brief period before the single (first) inspirational source for man’s behaviour was split into a choice between two sources of motivation, he was totally content with the knowledge of the beauty of only the original source of motivation. We all know (or should know) what happened in the Garden of Eden.

When the second source was added man suddenly possessed two conflicting sources on which to base his word and deed. In other words, he became aware that he possessed the right of choice between the two. However, the incursion of the second source obliterated the singleness of purity embedded in the original source. He now had the knowledge of both good and evil and he became torn between the two.

While he possessed only the original source of knowledge he had the right to a life of happiness and bliss on an eternal scale, never having to second guess the reason for his words and actions. But now the benefits of the single source of knowledge received the death knell, in that he was declared spiritually dead by the One who created him. This meant that although he retained the Breath of Life that enabled him to remain physically alive, his hope of eternal bliss was exchanged for eternal condemnation once his physical existence on earth reached an end.

Consequently, man’s knowledge of both good and evil compelled him to deliberate between the attributes of the two sources in the course of executing every facet of his daily life. Deep in his heart he desired the good in line with what he had in the beginning, but his nature leaned towards the latter source of motivation. He could not help it, for now he had the nature of sin which he would pass on to all of his offspring.

Had he not capitulated to sin he would have grown in stature, showing the fruit of the Spirit of his Maker, which is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and restraint. (Gal. 5:23). The fact is, he would have been ignorant of anything that would oppose the built-in nature of his existence.

But the second source of motivation was an evil intervention that gave birth to works that belonged to the flesh, namely, adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelry, and such like. (Gal. 5:19-22). These are all the offshoots of pride and importance of self.

This then, is the plight of the human race today. It has to pay the penalty for its transgression and the resultant nature of sin. That penalty is eternal condemnation in the place known as the lake of fire. It has to be understood that man is dead while he lives and that this condition continues after he departs from his external body of clay.

Can man be redeemed from his spiritually-dead condition and, thus, escape the confinement lying in wait for him? Yes, he can, but only God can redeem him. And He did. God took on the form of man and became, Emmanuel, meaning, God with us. The name, Jesus, was given to Him. This Jesus – God in the flesh – was born without sin and he remained without sin. But, He was to become sin for us so that He may put sin to death for us – and that we may be born again, given a second chance to live as He intended us to live.

In effect, Jesus was laden with our sinful nature and paid the penalty on our behalf so that we may be set free from our captivity to the condemnation under which we lived in our spiritually-dead condition. “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1)

It was not a matter of Jesus dying for all the petty little sins and/or big sins of man that he commits every day. He died for the very nature of sin in man causing all those sins. The truth is, Jesus did away with sin once and for all, but it remains in force for all who do not yet believe. Redemption, therefore, only comes for every individual once he seeks forgiveness for his spiritually-dead condition so that he may be redeemed and be given a new life, meaning, he needs to be born again.  “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2Cor. 5:17)

THE FIRST DEADLINE
The following needs to be made very clear. God works to two deadlines for the continuation of every individual’s life on earth. For all those that are spiritually dead the first deadline is physical death. Should such an unredeemed person die physically, whether by accident or natural causes, there is no recourse.  Such a person will have lost all hope. Of course, this first deadline holds no fear for those who are already redeemed and born again.

THE SECOND DEADLINE
The second deadline is the end of the timeline for man’s continued existence on earth, which is virtually upon us. At the end of this timeline God’s final judgment will fall upon the human race. “But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” (2Peter 3:7)

So, anyone who is alive right now and manages to remain alive is very likely to experience the end of the second deadline. That’s how close we are to that day. It will come suddenly, without further warning. We’ve already had enough warning and we can clearly see that the world we live in right now spells, ‘The End’. 2Thess.1:8 is about to become a reality. “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:”

As with the first deadline, the second deadline also holds no fear for those who currently enjoy the redeemed state. For them a ‘lift off’ is the final move as per 1Thess. 4:15-18. “For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

Right now, the only formula for redemption is repentance. “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2Peter 3:9)

THE ROAD TO REDEMPTION
The following prayer would be an act of repentance.

“Dear God, I now realise that I am a sinner in need of forgiveness and redemption. I believe that Jesus died in my place to pay the penalty for my sin nature and that He was resurrected from the dead so that I may live for eternity, Jesus, please come in to my heart and life and be my Lord and Saviour. Please guide me and grant me wisdom each and every day for the rest of my life on earth. Amen.”

So, the bottom line is this: There is a real purpose for our lives and we should enjoy every moment of our existence provided we do so in redemption mode. Apart from good health, this mode comes with many other benefits. Here’s proof from the mouth of our Lord and Saviour. “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” (John 15:7)

What is redemption mode? Once a heartfelt prayer of repentance is said the redemption mode sets in automatically, meaning, we are reconciled to God and have 24/7 access to His throne to converse freely with Him concerning every aspect (even the least little thing) of our new lives through the boldness and confidence of the faith of Jesus Christ that we now possess. In effect, living in redemptive mode means nothing becomes impossible for us with God. “With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” (Mark 10:27)

YOUR VERY OWN PERSONAL ARMY
And how about your own personal army to protect you and to remove any unwanted obstacle standing in your way? This covers sicknesses and diseases, unforeseen threats and concerning promotion in your workplace.  “Because you have made the LORD, which is your refuge, even the most High, your habitation; there shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.” (Ps 91:9-11)

To think that while you are washing dishes in your kitchen those angels are delighted with your happy face. While you are driving your car those angels can see far ahead of you and take action to avert any mishap. And your boss does not know why he suddenly feels that he should give you a substantial raise. Maybe so that you can afford to buy a dishwasher?

It’s Time to take back your Power and Authority

It’s Time to take back your Power and Authority

Our clear understanding of what lies behind the generation of our thoughts and words is of vital importance. Only once this is fully grasped will we be able to recognise the problem and set ourselves free from the things that bind us in life, whether in our personal relationships or at the workplace – and including the condition of our health.

I want to make this so clear that it would be impossible not to understand it. And if it is suddenly understood by anyone reading this message they would probably run out into the street and start dancing and singing in the rain, hail or sunshine regardless of what the neighbours think. Get ready to open your front door. You’re about to be unleashed.

When it comes to the reality of life most people go no further than simply considering themselves to be a member of something called the human race living on a planet located in this part of the universe. Perhaps you consider yourself to be a cut above the rest because of your education and achievements in life. Regardless of the opinion you might have of yourself, let’s look at what makes you and everyone else a member of the human race.

Did you know that no human inhabitant of this planet has any control over his own life unless he has knowledge of the realities that govern this world? The tragedies and disasters in this world are testaments to the fact that most people are oblivious to the truth.

Here is the reality. Our physical world – and every human being in it – is totally under the control of unseen spiritual forces, both that of Darkness and that of Light. Both of these forces have been and still are determining the circumstances of your life and your consummate fate lies in their hands. However, you can actually manipulate either of these forces to your advantage. Let me rephrase that. You can overthrow the power of the forces of Darkness, for they have been your enemy number one, and you can influence the power of the forces of Light, for they can’t wait to be of service to you. It is a matter of knowing how it works. (If you stop reading now you’ll never do that dance.)

Before you can even think of turning your attention to these spiritual forces you need to learn something about your own make-up as a human being. What you need to know and understand is that you are no less spiritual than these invisible forces. A major difference between you and them is that you wear a coat of flesh and bone. In other words, the spiritual you has a physical body through which the spiritual you finds animation. This is what makes you a human being. The spiritual forces of Light and Darkness also have bodies – spiritual bodies that cannot be seen by the human race. You were designed and created to make your presence felt in this terrestrial realm while they were designed and created to make their presence felt in the spiritual world within the celestial realm. However, the earth is a physical sphere within that celestial realm and, therefore, poses no obstacle to them. The physical realm is a product of the spiritual dimension and these spiritual forces are able to move right through anything that is physical. With our physical bodies removed we can do the same, but we were not designed to live outside of our physical bodies, for we are a special creation and we will not be able to operate outside of that limitation for that reason.

The fact that we are spirit beings first is clearly depicted in 2Cor. 5:10. Note in this verse that “every one” makes reference to a living being inside of a physical body, the “every one” is the spirit of a person. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”

Spiritual interaction
It is of crucial importance to grab a hold of what comes next. We, and those forces, are essentially spiritual beings and as such we can communicate with each other. The difference is that they can see us but we cannot see them. We are ‘locked’ inside physical bodies and we rely upon our physical senses to ‘feed’ our spirit with earthbound experiences. They see and hear us clearly and we hear their words as if they were our very own thoughts. Our knowledge of the difference between good and evil comes into play when we decide whether or not to speak out or act out those thoughts that were ‘planted’ in our spiritual minds that appear to be our own. We often hear of criminals testifying in court that they heard voices instructing them to perform heinous acts against their victims. The courts regard such criminals to be mentally unstable and have them psychiatrically evaluated, supposedly to get to the root of the problem.

Think of your own life and all the thoughts that run through your mind on a daily basis. Your thoughts are definitely not always your own and you cannot argue that your words and actions (in responding to those thoughts) have many a time caused you to make mistakes of a wicked kind. Perhaps you have judged others, making derogatory statements about them or you have taken something that does not belong to you, such as stationery items from your workplace. Every single thing you say or do is preceded by a thought on the matter. Even prideful behaviour is a thought-provoked display of self-importance or an expression of superiority over the intellectual level of others.

Expressions of resentment, rebellion, sarcasm, discontent, anger, malice, vindictiveness, unbelief, jealousy and vengeance – accompanied by actions and body language to support such outbursts, are clear indications of demonic mind control. Such demon-invoked emotions are designed to destroy lives and relationships.

Let me make this a stand-alone paragraph to elucidate what I’ve covered in the previous paragraph concerning our thoughts. Our thoughts are unspoken words and until we speak them they remain just thoughts. Once those thoughts are spoken they become creative words laden with power with which to bring about the desired effect, which may be to build up or to break down. Our thoughts are not conjured up by our brain. It is in our spirit where those thoughts rise up as deliberated by the mind of our own spirit or instilled by the enemy. The human brain is used to channel the words of the spirit to the outside world and it is the spirit that empowers the functioning of the brain. In other words, without our spirit the brain would be dead. Our physical brain is merely the spirit-empowered organ by means of which our spirit can generate utterance to our spiritual thoughts. The brain is always on standby to receive the ‘order’ to activate the vocal cords to form and give sound to the words coming through from the spirit. Our tongue is the final instrument of sound and it is this organ that determines the outcome. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” (Prov. 18:21)

It should be understood that the life of man – his consciousness and individuality as a living entity – is his spirit. Man’s physical body merely forms the covering for the real life within. Speaking of man as a whole, God stated in Genesis of the man He created that he “also is flesh”. (Gen.6:3). This certainly makes it clear that man is first and foremost a spirit, but he is also flesh. The flesh part of man, the physical house, performs the outward expression of the inner man, the spirit. “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” (James 2:26)

Let me say at this point that the human race has been so conditioned by ‘alien’ incursions into our thought life that they don’t even need to keep it up on a continuous basis. We tend to think as we have been trained to think and it now forms part of our very own nature. Anger, bitterness, hatred, slander and unforgiveness are some of the emotional garbage stored up in our spiritual make-up as a result of our exposure to these very real forces of darkness.

Spiritual eternity
What we need to truly grasp and understand is that both human creatures and the unseen spiritual entities exist as eternal beings. This means that we, as spiritual beings, will never cease to exist in spirit form. The difference between us and the angelic forces of both Light and Darkness is that they can move in and out of their environment of no time into our physical realm of time with ease, whereas we are locked into our environment of time. Only once we (our spirits) shed our physical house can we enter the realm of no time and actually see the other side. However, because we were created to exist as human creatures, our spirits are prohibited from operating amongst the angelic forces. Our spirits will return to God, returned in the sense that there will be a temporary continuation of our spiritual existence at a destination determined by our conduct as former earthbound creatures. That temporary existence will either be in heaven or in hell. Those in heaven will, once again, receive their physical bodies, but in glorified form, at the appointed time. The appointed time is an event referred to as the resurrection of the just. Life will then be continued in the eternal realm (of no time) for those who have participated in this resurrection, having received their glorified bodies in which they will be able to operate in the spiritual realm, that is, move through anything that is physical and travel from place to place in the blink of an eye. Their home ground will, once again, be Planet Earth. Those in hell (because of the nature of their conduct on earth) will also be resurrected at an appointed time but, sadly, it will be for the purpose of final judgement and sentence to eternity in hell in spiritual form.

We are, therefore, human creatures living on this planet for the purpose of fulfilling the God-given plan for our temporary earthbound lives that will determine our final destination. It is our duty to find out what that God-given plan is. It is a plan that consists of a way of life that empowers us to overcome the forces of darkness in no uncertain terms. The human race either has to continue living under the influence and direction of the god of this world (Satan) and his fallen angels and demons – or change direction. This may sound unfair, but the blame for our conduct rests with us and not with the invisible forces of evil. The reason for this is simply because we are free moral agents having freedom of choice. Once we know the truth, the choice becomes easy and it will set us free. But if we reject the truth and prefer the ways of this condemned satanic world then we will have made our choice. It’s really that simple. Here’s the affirmation. “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God abides for ever.” (1John 2:15-17)

Don’t misunderstand this; the world we are not to love is the world under the choice of those who love the godless lifestyles and array of attractions as laid out by the prince of this world, namely, Satan. This is made clear to us in Ephesians 6:11,12. “Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places

You need to make the right choice concerning the direction you want to take and once you do you are going to learn how to talk back to those dark forces causing them to flee at the sound of your voice. Stay with me and get ready to put on your dancing shoes.

Our stolen authority
Now for a big surprise. The reason God puts the blame on us and holds us accountable is because we have handed over our very own power to the forces of darkness which they use to weaken and destroy us. Without our power they cannot do a thing to influence our thinking and actions. Angelic beings have absolutely no authority on this earth and are prohibited from either directly doing us physical harm or directly destroying our possessions or man-made structures.  If they were, human life would have been destroyed a long time ago. In fact, Adam and Eve would have been the first and the last human creatures to taste life on this planet. Planet Earth is the domain of man. God is the owner and we are the sole stewards as decreed by God. Here’s the decree.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Gen. 1:26-28)

So how do they use our power to bring about death and destruction in our world? First of all, they had to gain the right to use our authority and they accomplished that in the Garden of Eden when Adam handed over the power of that authority to Satan. Note that this act did not hand over our dominion to them; it merely granted the right for them use us as human agents to do their bidding. This is where our thought life enters the picture. We have become so conditioned to wickedness from having our thought life captured by dark spiritual forces that it has become part of our nature to do and speak evil without being reminded by them.

It is the freedom of choice that caused Adam to appoint Satan as Commander-in Chief of the power and authority of the human race. It was a legal act brought about by deception. He now commands and we do. We are his agents to slander, steal from, kill and destroy our fellow human beings. If God had banished Satan forever as a result of this deception He would have had to bring an immediate end to the lives of Adam and Eve as well. The decay in the behaviour of the human race and the billions of lives lost in the killing fields of the world due to pride, greed, hatred and lust for power have come about as a direct result of our very own power and authority being commandeered by Satan and his fallen angels and demons. In essence, we are as fallen as the forces of darkness. This makes us a unified evil force to the point of self-destruction.

Just briefly; After the Noahic flood the entire population of the earth came from the loins of the three sons of Noah, namely, Ham, Shem and Japheth. From these emerged 7 great, but Satan-inspired empires complete with occulted forms of government raised to maraud and conquer the areas of the world existing at their respective times of reign. It started with Egypt and then Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome. The current one, the 7th, is known as Mystery Babylon which, in its next form will become the 8th. Mystery Babylon is now in control of the whole world by proxy of countries that do not even realise that they are being used to further the aims of this empire. The point is that all of these empires came to being as a result of the influence of the dark spiritual forces using the power and authority of individuals to form and lead their empires to steal, kill and destroy out of greed and hunger for power.

Well, it is time for us to take back our lives, restore our birthright and retake dominion over the earth and everything in it.

Where do we start? We start by getting rid of the one thing that God hates the most – and that is pride. Pride stands as a barrier between us and God and it is the very thing that dealt a death blow to Lucifer (now Satan) and the first thing that Satan instilled in the human race to secure our spiritual death and separation from God. “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” (Prov. 8:13)

However, it is purely a matter of being cleansed through the shed blood of Jesus Christ and fully committing your life to Him. Many who are filled with pride find this hard to do and even if they do pray they do so with an insincere heart, not willing to relinquish their self-importance and superior attitude. This, of course, is clearly seen by God and He will leave the person to their own devices until their pride leads to a fall. So let’s take care of this pride thing before we tackle those dark forces.

Pride and unforgiveness – the Greatest Killers of All Time
Handed down to us from Satan through Adam was the very thing that brought about our fall from grace and the death penalty. It was the combination of pride, unforgiveness and vengeance. The three go together hand in glove. They are bosom buddies.

It was pride and self-importance that drove Lucifer (Satan) to rebel against God. This same spirit of self-importance is what destroys relationships between members of the human race and makes way for the manifestation of sicknesses and diseases.

There are those who thrive on imposing their self-acclaimed superior understanding of everything under the sun over the intellect of others. They reject correction, preferring to bask in their prideful arrogance, which is why they find it difficult to submit their lives to the authority of Jesus Christ. The Bible refers to it as haughtiness and/or loftiness. Here is what God has to say about those who wilfully follow in the footsteps of Satan.

Prov 16:5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

Prov 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Isa 2:12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Isa 13:11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Isa 2:11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

Pride can be likened to a bow that launches an arrow of unforgiveness in revenge upon an unsuspecting victim. But it is the wielder of the bow who falls prey to sickness and loss. The spirit of pride brings about rottenness to the flesh and brittleness to the bones.

It is absolutely clear from the mouth of God that pride, the generator of self-importance, unforgiveness and arrogance, is an abomination to Him.

Pride and unforgiveness form the breeding ground for physical and mental ill-health and the paving stones for the road to self-destruction.

If God intends to destroy those who harbour pride and unforgiveness in their hearts then, surely, we should be wise enough to pay serious attention to the matter. The following verses of Scripture should be enough to make us want to have a complete change of mind.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Mark 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

From the above it stands to reason that unforgiveness severs us from help from Him in time of trouble. After all, this the reason for the Cross – the place where forgiveness was imparted so that we could be set free from the penalty of eternal death and condemnation because of our pride and nature of unforgiveness. If we cannot forgive, then why should God forgive us? “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” (Mt 6:14,15)

When we die our spirit can no longer display pride and unforgiveness through a dead body. Our death on the Cross in Jesus Christ and resurrection in Him transformed us into brand new, born again human beings having shed our spirit-driven pride and unforgiveness. We took on the life and spiritual nature of the One who now lives within us, the One filled with joy, peace, love and forgiveness.

And that is what makes us, as born again sons and daughters of God, receive what we ask for in prayer and be able to walk in health and boldly declare, “The blood of Jesus has cleansed me of all unrighteousness. I am now one with Jesus, living by His faith, and by His stripes I am healed of all ailments, sicknesses and diseases and pride no longer fills my heart.”

Turn it all around
Now that we are absolutely clear about pride and the blockage it might cause and If you have not as yet reclaimed your birthright, then now is the time to do so. All you need to do is to thank God, in prayer, for sending His Son to pay the penalty for your condition of sin and to ask Jesus to come into your heart and be your Lord and Saviour. He does not care about your past or your present – only your future.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2Cor. 5:17)

Did you hear that? Everything in your old life becomes dead and buried. All the pages of your book of life up to now will have no further meaning in your life – and more importantly – God no longer cares about them and no longer sees them. Your book of life re-starts with brand new words and deeds. There are ‘autograph hunters’ (family, friends and children) out there looking for a new book to talk about, cherish and embrace. Let it be your book.

From now on you will have the help of the Master Editor, the Holy Spirit, to guide the mind of your spirit in compiling further pages. You can be assured, you are going to make some mistakes, but unlike the former pages of your book of life, you will be able to render those mistakes of no consequence by confessing them to the Father and asking for forgiveness. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1John 1:9)

Spiritual rebirth takes place the moment the prayer of repentance is said. God honours the commitment and regenerates the spirit of the person who comes to Him in prayer for salvation and that person becomes born again.

This means that your slate is wiped clean – the past pages of your book of life are no longer taken into account by God and spiritually, you’re literally born again. After all, you are a spiritual being – and for the very first time you are spiritually connected to God and have access to the throne of God. “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: “ (Col 1:13)

You are no longer spiritually dead. From this point forward the Holy Spirit takes up residence within your spirit and the Kingdom of God is now within you.

A new chapter
Now you are ready to take on those depraved fallen angels and take charge of your life by the power that is in you. Also, now the holy angels of God are in a position – because of your renewed life – to respond to the words of your mouth by scattering the forces of darkness on your behalf. You are now a human powerhouse in motion energised by the words of your mouth. And those words are launched by the power of your tongue. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” (Prov. 18:21)

You have renewed your mind by coming to the knowledge of the truth. Your thought life is now secured and the spirit of your mind will no longer entertain the incursion of those dark forces who seek to utilise your power and authority. Only your own thoughts and words will determine your actions and only you will utilise your God-given power and authority over this planet.

All you need now is to add little further knowledge to what you have just read. And then you can go dancing in the street.

Seated in Heavenly Places
Did you know that your area of existence as a human being expanded from your physical abode on earth to a place in the heavenly, spiritual realm right next to Jesus where he is seated and you now operate from within that realm?

This means that your life is lived both in heaven and on earth at the same time. Therefore, whatever you say is heard, simultaneously, in heaven, between heaven and earth, and on earth.

Did you know that you became one spirit with Jesus and that is why you are able to be there, in the heavenly realm, with him? “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” (1Cor. 6:17)

The fact of your UNION with Christ and your dwelling in the spiritual realm is clearly illustrated in Eph. 2:4 – 6. “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us TOGETHER with Christ (by grace ye are saved), and has raised us up TOGETHER, and made us sit TOGETHER in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

Our citizenship is in Heaven, but we have a job to do on earth. We are the Body of Christ, which is in Heaven and on earth. We are in SPIRITUAL UNION with Christ for as long as we remain in our physical bodies on earth. Our empowerment comes through the Holy Spirit, Who has placed us in the Kingdom of God. And that Kingdom is within us. This is how we can be both in Heaven and on earth at the same time. We are already seated in Heaven where Christ is and Christ is wherever we are on earth.

If we are spiritually seated in heavenly places together with Christ, even while we are physically present on earth, then our conduct, wherever we find ourselves, should be as if we are conducting ourselves right before the sight and hearing of Jesus. “For our conversation is in heaven”. (Eph. 3:20) In other words, when you speak to anyone – whether it is a fellow student, a work colleague or your spouse – you should converse with them as if you are seated right there in that heavenly place, with Jesus overhearing your every word. We should live our lives in constant awareness of this.

As members of the Body of Christ, the Church, we have privileges that far exceed our expectations. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” (Eph 1:3)

Jesus said, “… I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

Jesus is the head of the Church, his Body, and we are members of that Body. When Jesus was raised from the dead to be set at the right hand of the Father, he was set “Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:” (Eph 1:21)

And we now sit together with Christ in that heavenly position because we are his Body, the Church, and as such we are far above “every name that is named”, meaning, we are in charge and have authority over everything that is evil in this world, whatever name it goes by. The name of Jesus is the name we go by to overcome any other name, wherever that name exists.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father
.” (Php 2:9-11)

When we, the Church, seated together with Christ in heavenly places and making our presence felt in the earth, use the name of Jesus, then things happen wherever we want it to happen.

Jesus said, “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven, For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Mt 18:18 – 20)

This is authority beyond comprehension – and we have that authority. Whatsoever we forbid on earth shall be forbidden in heaven – and whatsoever we allow on earth shall be allowed in heaven. We don’t need permission from our heavenly Father – we already have it as the Body of Christ and we know what the will of the Father is because we have the mind of Christ within us.

In addition to the power of authority we have to bind and to loose on earth, we may also ask in prayer for anything, as long as two or three agree. There are many of us in the Body of the Church. Only two or three are needed to agree in order to receive what we ask for.

Now let’s get down to business. There is a certain name that has come up in our world. It belongs to an evil, destructive force and its name is being named over and over, giving more and more power to its name. We need to destroy that name and vanquish it from the earth forever. It should not be allowed to continue its destructive action one day longer.

That name is Covid-19 sent from the gates of hell.

As the Church, we have a Name – the Name of Jesus – that is far above that name. And the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church.

Are you ready? Let’s do it.

“In the Name of Jesus we come against the name, Covid-19. We bind your name and your destructive force right now and we destroy you completely, never for you to come up again in any form or name. Amen.”

IT IS DONE!

Are there any other names you wish to take care of? Don’t allow those forces of darkness to tell you that you’re a failure. Failure is a name. Take care of it. Don’t let them convince you that a disease has overtaken you. Diseases have names. Take care of those names. The same goes for debt, stress and anything standing in the way of succeeding in life. You have power and authority and a tongue to make it happen.

Faith is voice activated
What an astonishing statement – there is something out there, called faith, which is responsible for everything that exists and it is voice activated. In its simplest application we use it every day without thinking twice. We use it for getting out of bed each morning, for making breakfast and for going about our daily business, but when it comes to using the most powerful aspect of it we switch over to fear mode – which is something that shuts the door to faith. It is like having hope while knowing the thing desired is beyond reach.

So what is faith and what do we need it for? Simply put, faith is a living entity on standby to bring forth change in our lives whereby our needs – and even wants – are met. We might be struggling financially, have huge emotional problems or have a lingering disease that won’t go away and we are mentally screaming for help that seems out of reach. Faith can change all that.

The reality is that the basic form of what we need already exists in the invisible realm waiting for an instruction, but it can only take shape once the order is given for it to be produced. And it is produced by faith. Better still, it is created by faith. Faith turns nothing into something. We need to give that something a name in order for faith to create it. Faith is a substance out of which the desired thing is formed for output in the visible realm in which we live. And we need to look upon faith as the absolute proof of the end result. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Heb 11:1)

And so we find faith waiting in the wings for someone to say something and it will not budge until it is said. Although faith is voice activated, it is activated only by a voice that knows what it wants and knows that faith will create it. And for that to happen we need to be plugged in to the power that turns faith on in order for it to start the “manufacturing” process.

It is faith that created everything in existence and once we fully understand this we should be in a position to use it to create what we earnestly desire in our lives. “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” (Heb 11:3)

Faith is an attribute of God and he passed on that attribute to us here on earth. God so much wants us to use it and to actually live by it that He regards it as impossible to please Him should we not do so. This is made clear in Heb 10:38. “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.”
We see it reaffirmed in Heb 11:6. “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

God has placed the necessary power in us through Jesus Christ through whom we activate faith by the words of our mouth. It is Christ within us that moves faith on our behalf and we receive what we need to the extent to which we actually believe this truth. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,” (Eph 3:20)

What the quoted verse is saying is that we receive abundantly, but only in accordance to the measure of our personal belief in the power that works in us. If we are feeble in our belief in the power of Jesus within us then what we receive will equate to our belief.

So we see then that God’s power is at our disposal and we have the authority to use it because of Jesus in us. In effect, we are living for Him and by Him and in His place here on earth, so why should we live in poverty and with sicknesses and diseases? Obviously, if we desire health and wealth for the purpose of pursuing the pleasure of this life then it is powerless luck we need and not powerful faith.

The bottom line is, if we consider Jesus in us to be an absolute reality, then we can talk to our sickness and talk to our bank accounts and faith will do the rest. You see, God has already given us the ability to do it ourselves in the name of Jesus, so why pray and ask for something that has already been done?

Faith is voice activated – so let’s start speaking. “I have been redeemed, cleansed and sanctified by the blood of Jesus. I am healed of all sicknesses and diseases from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. All my needs and desires are met as per the promises of God and my finances are undergoing a positive change. I am an heir of God through Jesus Christ and therefore what belongs to Him also belongs to me. I now partake of the wealth in this world laid up for God’s children and my bank account balance is increasing as I speak and declare in the name of Jesus. Amen”

Can you hear faith start working? Keep on speaking and do so as if nothing will stop it from happening. See your needs approaching the end of the production line.

God, “In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.” (Job 12:10) will hasten His word to bring about what we speak in faith because it pleases Him. It also means that we will have entered the Kingdom of which we are the subjects with the privileges that go with it.

THAT INCREDIBLE POWER WITHIN US

THERE IS A MASSIVE CONCENTRATION OF THE MOST INCREDIBLE POWER IN THE UNIVERSE MANIFESTED IN THOSE WHO ARE CHRIST’S. “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” (1Cor. 6:17)

That SPIRIT/POWER is at work in us. We need only to think, let alone ask. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,” (Eph. 3:20)

That POWER is at our disposal. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” (John 14:12-14)

That POWER enables us to carry out our purpose. “And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matt. 28:18-20)

That POWER is evident because of what we do and also provides protection. “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” (Mark 16:17.18)

And as if that is not enough POWER, here’s the real clincher. Being reconciled to God and being one with Him, we once again have dominion over all the earth – even able to subdue it, such as taking control of the weather elements and calling for rain where it is needed.

Gen 1:26. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
Gen. 1:27. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
Gen. 1:28. “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

And if that is not convincing enough, here’s confirmation of that dominion POWER. “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” (Mark 11:23”

If His faith is in us – and it is because we are one spirit – we only need to say it, say it, say it.

That’s the dominion side of POWER. It requires word action from our side.

Then there are the things we desire personally, which do not fall under the dominion-power category. “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:24)

That’s the prayer side of POWER for having personal desires met. It requires prayer and belief, belief, belief.

All we need to do is to remain conscious of who and what we are in Christ. We will never be perfect, but guess who is perfect? – Christ in us. Constant awareness of this fact should be enough for us to abide in Him. “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” (John 15:7)

We are free, free, free. “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36)

So what is the bottom line to all of this? We need to stop crying to God in beggarly fashion. We need to start believing instead of hoping. We need to start being what He has made us – and that is dominion-powered, faith-driven sons and daughters of God.

We are co-heirs with Christ in the here and now. All the cattle on a thousand hills belong to Him and therefore to us. Every inch of land above sea level is a hill and we have dominion over it. All power (authority) has been given to Him in heaven AND in earth, THEREFORE, we are EMPOWERED by His presence within us. There is absolutely nothing greater than what we already have.

Do we need rain? Let’s call those rain clouds to gather where we need them in the name of Jesus and bring down the rain.

Do we have personal needs and even desires? Let’s ask in prayer and believe that we have what we ask for at that very moment.

We need to follow the example of that centurion in Matthew 8 and hear Jesus saying the same thing about us. “When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.” (Mt 8:10)

Let’s cause Jesus to marvel at us too.

Is your front door beckoning?

Your spirit is alive and well and living inside your body

It is only natural for us to use pronouns to refer to ourselves or others in the words we speak, as in, “I don’t know what I’ll be doing tomorrow, but I know what you will be doing.”

Who does the “I” or the “you” refer to in any sentence where we use these pronouns? Better still, who is doing the talking when words come out of our mouths? It is certainly not our body or our brain nestled between our ears doing the talking. The words we speak emanate from our spirit, which constitutes our life – the real “you” or “me”.

The words of our spirit come out of our mouth because our mouth is the “funnel” through which our spirit speaks. Your brain can be likened to a highly sophisticated spirit-powered physical engine room linked to your spirit and on continual standby for instructions from your spirit. Your brain has no say in any matter – it does what your spirit tells it to do.

Your spirit uses your brain to animate your body in line with the thoughts and actions taking place in your spirit. If your spirit decides to turn thoughts into words it will trigger the speech centre of your brain to release the words and perhaps also instruct your brain to be impactful by using body language as you speak.

Let’s put it in perspective and consider the following scenarios.

The Most Powerful Weapon on our Planet – the Human Tongue – is creating havoc in the World

The Director-General of the World Health Organisation regularly appears on our television screens to instil in the minds of viewers that Covid-19 infections will continue in waves for quite some time and the medical profession is endorsing his claims. And we have the South African Health Minister pleading with South Africans to take Covid-19 seriously. If that’s not enough, our television news reporters appear to be thrilled to report that we (South Africa) are now the 6th highest in the world for confirmed cases – as if it is a great achievement for our country.

In turn, parents are educating their children about this pandemic, thereby creating an awareness in them of something that might overtake them.

What does this tell us? It tells us that we need to FEAR the positive possibility of being infected by the disease.

Are you familiar with Mr. and Mrs. “Whosoever”? Whosoever is anyone, regardless of whether or not he or she believes that God is the designer and creator of the human tongue. If you’re a “whosoever” all you have to do is to really BELIEVE that what you are SAYING will actually come to pass. And there is only one way to SAY it while you BELIEVE it – and that is by using your TONGUE.

And if you BELIEVE something it will only be because you heard it being said by someone SAYING it by using their TONGUE and they actually BELIEVED what they were SAYING was true.

Now let’s see what “Whosoever” is capable of. “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says.” (Mark 11:23)

This may sound like having FAITH to bring to reality the thing that you BELIEVE by using your TONGUE. That’s right. But FEAR is the opposite of FAITH and it works the same way. The thing you FEAR the most will certainly come to pass if you BELIEVE it and SPEAK it as if you BELIEVED it. In other words, you have tremendous FAITH in what you FEAR.

We may have whatever we SAY – and if what we SAY amounts to something that may bring ill health and death as a consequence of what we BELIEVE and SAY, then by the POWER of our TONGUE we can bring to MANIFESTATION the very thing that we SPEAK.

Conversely, we can choose to SPEAK what will establish what we really desire deep down in our hearts – and that is LIFE. What we SPEAK will PRODUCE either the fruit of DEATH or the Fruit of LIFE. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” (Prov. 18:21)

If no-one had ever said anything ever since the human race made its appearance in the Garden of Eden, then nothing would ever have happened in the world. There would only have been a need to seek shelter and a hunger for food as well as the fleshly desire to procreate, but because man actually used his TONGUE we are where we are today and we have what we have – both good and bad.

The disease that has caused the world to live in fear has a name – Covid-19. This name, Covid-19, is on our minds and on our tongues and the scientists are telling us that we should indeed be very fearful of the name. And so we are. We BELIEVE it and we SPEAK what we BELIEVE.

Everything has a name, but there is one NAME that is far above and more POWERFUL than any other name. All it takes is faith in that NAME and knowing what is behind the POWER of that NAME. Let’s find out what that NAME is. “Wherefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Php 2:9-11)

We note from the above that at the NAME of Jesus every “thing” in heaven, every “thing” in the earth and every “thing” under the earth should “bow” and that every TONGUE should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. The Covid-19 disease is a “thing” with a name and this “thing” is in the earth. It has no choice but to bow (give in, be rendered harmless, die) at the NAME of Jesus when it hears our TONGUE confessing that Jesus Christ is Lord.

What would we rather do? Would we rather BELIEVE in this “thing” called Covid-19 and BELIEVE what we are being told by the TONGUES in the world concerning this puny “thing” or would we rather believe in the NAME, Jesus, and by that name destroy that “thing” named Covid-19 by the POWER of the NAME of Jesus over our TONGUE?

We have death and life in the power of our tongue. We need to choose LIFE and SAY so – as follows.

“I confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and that at the name of Jesus the name of every thing, no matter where it is, must bow. Therefore, in the name of Jesus I speak to and come against this thing called Covid-19 and I bind you by the power of the name of Jesus. You have no place in me or in any member of my family. In the name of Jesus I decree that you are dead. Amen.”

The name, Covid-19, is that mountain that has been cast into the sea by the words of your mouth. You’re not just any “whosoever”. You are the “whosoever” that believes in the POWER of the name of Jesus and, therefore, every knee must bow to the AUTHORITY of that NAME.

To all the Marble Collectors of the World

As human beings we interact with each other within the environment we find ourselves in and we react to general circumstances in life, not realizing that every precious moment is a significant event designed to develop a vitally important part of our make-up.

DON’T TELL ME YOU’RE NOT A COLLECTOR.
Perhaps you’ve never come to realize it, but you’ve been a collector of marbles all of your life. Without them you will have been but an empty shell of a human being. There might have been times when the stresses of life have made you go a little “crazy”, causing other people to say, “He’s lost some of his marbles.”

If anything, that certainly proves that all of us are marble collectors. If still not convinced, I’m going to set about proving it to you by means of an illustration – and you are going to help me do it, if you don’t mind.

The marbles you’ve been collecting have come in a myriad of different colours and in quite a few sizes. It will help tremendously if you actually see them. So if you have a little free time right now, please see if you can find some kind of a glass container in your kitchen –  a jar or drinking glass. And, of course, you will also need a bag of marbles. If you neither have the time nor have any marbles in the house, then your vivid imagination will do the trick.

Okay, let’s get the illustration going.

WELCOME TO THIS WORLD.
You’ve just made your entrance into this world by being born into it. After a few hours you start getting hungry. Your mother feeds you and you achieve a sense of satisfaction. Now drop one marble into that glass container, which would then represent the knowledge of hunger and a food substance to satisfy that hunger.

You’re now at a place called home where strange sounds and the constant voice of your mother enter your little being. This is just more information beginning to record itself in a “database” inside of you. You can add two more marbles to the container to cover that.

You’re growing up fast. Along the way a great many things have been filling up that database through your senses of smell, taste, touch, vision and hearing. Add several more marbles to the jar. You’re on the verge of intellectual greatness. Your mother has been telling the whole world that you appear to be exceptionally smart, probably more so than any other child in existence.

HELLO MR. KNOW-IT-ALL.
You have finally become a teenager. The years since birth had exposed you to a vast amount of experiences at home, in the school classrooms and the geographical environment of your activities and wanderings. Boy, all of this is worth quite a few marbles. Throw them in. Your mental and physical prowess is beginning to take shape. Your database of marbles is beginning to become quite colourful.

At this teenybopper stage you probably have not come to realize that the mound of marbles lying within your inner database is really all that you consist of. You are no more than that. Your knowledge, personality and character are all woven into your current collection of colourful marbles, which has fuelled a generator churning out intellectual processes used for informing the world that you have “arrived” and that the marbles your parents possess are at an inferior level of quality. You are even ashamed to be seen with these “lesser” marbles.

You’ve completed your education and have quite a few years, as an employee, behind your back. Many more marbles have found their way into that database. (I trust you’re feeding that jar)

SOME TOUGH BREAKS ALONG THE WAY.
The marbles of unforeseen hardships, disappointments – and some happy moments – have found their way in over the many years that followed.  The marbles now come in at a much slower rate. The picture of who and what you are has become pretty clear. You are no more than that particular bunch of marbles that only you have accumulated. There’s not a person in the world with the same database of marbles. Everyone has a different collection of marbles.

THERE HAS TO BE A MORAL-STORY SOMEWHERE.
Okay, enough marbles, you’re waiting for the moral of the story.

The marbles – that only you have – represent the entire make-up and picture of your soul. The marbles dished out to you – most of them of the kind that you chose – make up your identity as an individual.

Your consciousness as a human being revolves around the content of your soul. And what comes out of that soul will be your word – your word based only on the specific kind of “marbles” lodged in your database of knowledge about yourself and the world as you perceive it.  This is your word. This is your soul. You are one with your word and your soul. (May your marbles be of a very special kind)

Is there more to it? Yes, of course.

YOU DIDN’T ALWAYS HAVE ALL THOSE MARBLES.
You started off with the breath of life. This breath of life came from God. He made you in His image, meaning you were made to be a little god complete with part of Him to give you life and to be just like Him – a spirit.

This spirit-life within you is represented by the air inside the glass container you used for this illustration. You had an infant spirit that needed “marbles” to start giving identity to your spirit, which identity was to become your soul and your word. Throughout your life your spirit has been animating your growing soul and presenting it to the world as your word through your physical body, the latter being represented by the glass container.

Yes, the world has been observing your marbles (soul and word) through that glass container – and so has God.

The world has been judging you by your word – and so will God.

And God said, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36)

If you don’t already know, you need to find out what He meant by that.

The bottom line?

Don’t lose your marbles.

WANTED: Alive and Dead

Did you know that you are on the wanted list along with every person on this planet? And did you know that God wants you off that wanted list?

You are a target

If you are not a Christian it is very likely that you are unaware that you are being targeted to become a “secret agent” for the purpose of detrimentally influencing the lives of others while others are being similarly engaged to do the same to you. For a very good illustration of this activity simply watch any soap opera on tv where actors go about the business of destroying each other. Many will say that soap operas are just a reflection of life, which is exactly what I’m trying to get across. Those actors are portraying real life on this planet and viewers are being indoctrinated to act similarly. Fear, hatred, vengeance, jealousy, gossiping and slandering are some of the trademarks of a person assigned to carry out his/her “secret agent” activity.

What does this have to do with being on the wanted list? Whether you want to believe this or not, the wanted list belongs to Satan and he wants every living human to live like those soap opera actors as a means to bring about the destruction and death of the human race. In other words, while we’re alive he wants to use us against each other until our stress levels bring about ill health and consequential death, whether by foul play, accident or so-called natural causes. He first wants us while we’re alive and then he wants us dead. He cannot come against us directly. He can only bring about our demise by using us against each other.

Your fruits

What about Christians? Well, there are Christians who once were Christians and still think they are Christians, but their fruits say otherwise. You will find that they are no different than those working full steam for Satan. They gossip, slander, meddle and continually find fault with others on behalf of Satan. They are especially useful to Satan against real Christians. He wants to destroy the testimony of the latter, hoping they would capitulate and give up their faith.

God wants us off this wanted list and the only way we can come off that list is by being a follower of Jesus Christ. How does one become a follower of Jesus Christ? There is only one way – and that is to die. What do I mean? Well, let me tell you that you cannot be a follower of Jesus Christ until you die first. Die how? On the Cross.

Jesus said, “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.  This he said, signifying what death he should die. (John 12:32,33)

Note that He said that He “will draw all men unto me.” This means that you will not be ready to die unless you come to the Cross. It is an open invitation. What is it that will draw you? The Truth will draw you. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6).

Die in order to live

If you want to come to the Father then it means you have to die on that Cross in Jesus and rise again from death in Jesus. Yes, if you want to live anew you have to die first. This will take you off that wanted list. Like Paul, you will be able to say, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Gal 2:20)

Imagine that, living “by the faith of the Son of God”. That’s living with a huge amount of faith. You will have died and become a new creation, erased from Satan’s wanted list. Does that mean that Satan cannot get you back on that list? Of course he can, but if you live by the faith of Jesus and remind yourself daily that you died and rose again in Christ then the agents of Satan (non-Christians and fallen Christians alike) will find it very difficult to deceive you. This is why Jesus said, “Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” (Mark 8:34)

The only way you can deny yourself is to remind yourself of that Cross where you died, which is the act of taking up your cross.

So, ironically, it seems that Satan wants us dead so that we can live forever in hell – and God wants us dead so that we can live forever in Christ in heaven and wherever He goes.

Have you been drawn to the Cross yet? If so, are you taking up your cross daily?

“If then ye were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.
Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth.
For ye died, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” (Col 3:1-3)

To whom it may concern

The point of this article will become adequately clear a little later on. I want to get right to it and start at a point which might seem as if I’ve omitted an introduction of some sort. So please bear with me and play along until the message becomes clear and, hopefully, makes the desired impact. And there will be an impact – as you will see.

We all have a decreed (by God) lifespan of 70 years, possibly extended to 80 years or so depending on our health status. Granted, this is probably not the average lifespan, but it is divinely set at 70 years.

Now, let’s switch over to figurative language and imagine that your lifespan of 70 years begins at the top of a 70-storey building and that you actually start falling from that building the moment you are born. However, pretend that you are falling in slow motion at a rate of one storey for each year of your lifespan of 70 years.

Logically, hitting the bottom would mean the end of your life. Do not try to envision the actual fall. You are simply likening your lifespan to a 70-storey drop from start to finish. So don’t panic for now – save it for later.

As you fall, the various phases of your life will pass by – the very first sights and sounds; your upbringing; your education; your marriage; your children and all of your experiences in life including the sad moments and the good moments.

At about two-thirds of the way down you are still falling at the same rate, but somehow it feels like the velocity of your fall is increasing and you now have a very clear view of the bottom end of your fall. You don’t like it, but there is nothing you can do about it.

Finally, you’re about to hit the bottom at more or less 70 years of age and you know that the impact at the end of your fall is inevitable. Perhaps, like just about everyone else making that same 70-story fall you are asking questions, something like, “Why did I have to fall? Was my life a meaningless adventure? Is everything going to a senseless waste and end just like that? What was it all about?”

Wait a minute. Let’s suspend your fall just before the impact. Now just hover there for a while and think things through. In point of fact, you could have suspended the fall at any stage of your downward plunge. Thinking back, you actually had motivation to do so several times, but you waived the opportunity.

While you were falling, did you not hear from someone on more than one occasion that the reason for your fall was because you were born in condemnation and that you deserved to start that downward rush to eternal oblivion from the moment you entered this world? Did someone not tell you that the final impact did not mean the end of your consciousness as a human being? Were you not told that there was a Heaven and a Hell and that you had a choice of destination?

All the way down that 70-story building someone very special accompanied your downward flight and he did so while hanging on a Cross – waiting for you to respond to his love for you. All you had to do was to declare from your heart, “Yes, I choose you Jesus. I choose the new life you have given me from the Cross.” And if you did he would have immediately suspended your fall and allowed you float gently to the bottom from where you would have made a u-turn in the direction of a place prepared for you in Heaven.

The rest of your life during that gentle descent to the point of impact and that u-turn would have been filled with joyful expectations of a Heavenly kind. It is known as an abundant life.

Where are you now – the 50th story… the 40th storey? It does not matter where you are in your downward fall. You can press the pause button and make that decision in favour of an abundant life. There’s a whole lot more to learn about that abundant life, but making that decision will suffice for now. There’s a treasure chest waiting just for you, not to mention an exhilarating grasp of the reality of the true meaning of life.

Would you like to have proof that you are falling from that 70-storey building and proof that you can change the course of the fall?
Here it is:

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned. But he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:16-18)

Separation of Church and State means Separation from Life

Our Parliament is filled with politicians from various parties who were elected to represent the people of the land who voted for them. Each one of these politicians has to conform to an unwritten law that states that God is to be separated from the workings of Government, the decisions of Government and that God may not be referred to or enlisted as a consultative entity for Parliament. In other words, there is to be a separation of Church and State. Only where there is a swearing or affirmation, by taking an oath, may the word, ‘God’, be used – as in “so help me God.”

The South African Constitutional Law states that all religions must be respected and no preference should be given to any religion. Therefore, it is Law in Government that the name ‘God’, by which name an oath is to be sworn, is not the God of the Christian faith, but is the God of all religions regardless of whether or not they be false. Therefore, when the South African President ends any one of his addresses to the nation on television with a “May God bless our country and our people”, he is really referring to a universal God, not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob exclusively – otherwise he would be breaking Constitutional Law.

Even political parties that have the word, ‘Christian’, forming part of the name of their party – such as the African Christian Democratic Party – have to adhere to the separation of Church and State ruling and may, therefore, not quote from the Bible for the purpose of admonishment, which would be an act of suggesting that the Christian faith is to form the only moral standard to follow by the Government.
