Does Pres.Vladimir Putin really know what he is doing? No, he does not. He is driven to do what he is doing, not by his own volition, but by the instigation of spiritual forces in control of his mind and that of his government. He simply can’t help what he is doing.

Now let’s bring God into it. After all, He is the Creator and Commander-in-Chief of the world we live in. This means He is always in control and everything, whether dead or alive, will obey His voice. The Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Medo-Persian, Grecian and Roman empires were permitted to come to power by God, but they were also brought down by God. Each one of these empires had a purpose. After fulfilment of their God-invoked purpose, they succumbed under the Hand of the God who brought them into existence.
The rise of the (God-called) nation of Israel was the reason for the existence of these empires until they served their purpose. God founded His Spiritual Kingdom on earth through the nation of Israel. National Israel, also, served its purpose, hence its destruction in A.D. 70. Israel today is a secular nation void of divine purpose other than being prepared for a prophesied, future strategic event – that of Armageddon.
Right now there are other “superpowers”, whether considered to be good or evil, playing a role for the fulfilment of God’s plan for the human race. America, the United Kingdom, the European Union China and the Arab states all believe that they are in control of their destiny, but they are merely being choreographed for a final performance on the stage of God’s prophesied events.
The Usurper
Now let’s bring Satan into it. After all, he is “the god of this world”, also known as “the prince of the power of the air” and the “father of lies”. As such he has been deceiving the world into believing that God is merely an alternative religious entity not to be taken seriously. For this purpose he has created a plethora of false religions for all of mankind and has kept the world busy with various forms of entertainment and activities to divert their attention from their Creator. There are those of the human race that actually worship Satan. “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” (Rev. 12:9)
Satan has succeeded in causing death and destruction to individuals and nations through conflict, strife. wars, genocide and crime, but only because of humanity’s ignorance of the reality of their existence under the laws of God that determine their fate. In effect, Satan has been God’s proxy in the handling of individuals and nations, but only to the extent of God’s permissive will and purpose. The current Covid-19 pandemic should be seen in this light, like so many other atrocities suffered by the human race throughout its history. It all merely formed part of the burning out of all dross in human society because of its rejection of God. The intensity of God’s focus of attention upon mankind is now increasing. Satan’s time is almost up. His role on earth is coming to an end.
The Bible tells us that God is not “a respecter of persons” and that He is “a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Those who seek Him benefit greatly – should they wholeheartedly place their faith in Jesus. Those who show no interest are subject to “the wiles of the devil” and are likely to find themselves in deep trouble when tribulation comes by way of Satan.
Take a closer look
Now back to the Russia/Ukraine debacle. It would be pointless speculating about the outcome of Russia’s war against Ukraine, except to say that global markets have already begun to experience the aftermath of this conflict, with oil prices skyrocketing to over $100 per barrel for the time since 2014. Should NATO step in militarily by coming to the aid of Ukraine, World War III could break out and nuclear weapons would most certainly be used. This would make the 2nd World War look like a Sunday school picnic and spell the end of human livelihood as we know it – world-wide.
Should Russia succeed for the sake of her glory and conquest aspirations and no military intervention comes from the USA and NATO, then what is to stop Russia from targeting America? Bear in mind that Russia’s ally, China, is sitting on the sidelines observing Russia’s attack on Ukraine, having aspirations of her own to reclaim Taiwan in the same manner – by force. Should Russia succeed without intervention, then China is certain to follow suit and overthrow Taiwan. Could the powerful Russia/China alliance be the proxy force in the hands of God to bring judgement to a degenerate America? Should this be the case, then Israel would be laid bare for an onslaught by Russia, China and the Arab States, which spells A-R-M-A-G-E-D-D-O-N, God’s final prophetic event for Planet Earth.
I wish to reiterate that god is in control and everything happening on this planet has to do with God’s redemptive plan for man through Jesus Christ.
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” (2Peter 3:9,10)
The “day of the Lord” is greatly to be feared and when we observe the crazed state of humanity today we have to admit that something is afoot. It simply cannot continue this way. The “thief in the night” event must surely be at our doorstep.
