The above is the title of the very first book I wrote in 1998. I bound it and shelved it. In retrospect, I should have published it as an e-book at the first opportunity, but I simply forgot about it and twelve years later I commenced writing articles and other e-books.
Recently, for some reason, my mind went back to this book that I had “dismissed” twenty years ago and decided to retrieve it. I read it with some amazement – even although I was the author. I say this with humility and give the glory to God.
I would like to share a page or so from the book about healing. Something remarkable about the section I’m sharing is an “imaginary” word from Jesus. I remember that when I wrote the words it seemed to be given to me, for I wrote it without hesitation and fluently from start to finish.
At the end of quoting the section we are going to do something together and believe for a miracle. Get yourself ready.
START OF SECTION OF THE BOOK
When we believed in Him for the first time we believed unto salvation as well as healing for our bodies. By His stripes we were healed! If you do not hold resentment or unforgiveness towards others, then there is no reason why you should not have been healed the moment you were translated into God’s Kingdom, unless it is only now that you have come to understand it.
If doubt persists, then you would probably need Jesus to declare to you:-
“But how is it possible that you still harbour sickness in your body? I provided complete healing for you when I took all your sin, sicknesses and diseases upon myself on the Cross. I imparted enough faith to you for you to believe in your salvation, redemption, sanctification as well as for the healing of your body. If I could exchange your state of Eternal Death for Eternal Life, which I did, then could it be impossible for me also to remove something small, such as the ravishes of sin, from your body? Of course not! Do you think for one moment that I would ask you to carry out the commission as per Matthew 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15-20 if I did not already make provision for your healing? How is it possible that you believed that I saved you but do not believe that I had also healed you when my Word clearly says so? Young or old, the fact that you are still on the earth means that I have a task for you to perform for me and it is my will for you to do so with a healthy physical body. I am alive inside of you by the power of the Holy Ghost, which means your HEALER is alive in you. And YOU are my body. Take a look at Matthew 8:16,17. My child, do you believe what is written there? It is my Word and my promise to you. I need your healthy body to do the work that I I need to do. Come now, I declare that you are healed. Do not look at the symptoms. Look at me, and your symptoms will disappear like the sun that disappears when it sets. I am the Power and Authority living inside of you. I am your certificate to a clean bill of health.”
Now is there something inside your body that should not be there, such as arthritis, diabetes, cancer or HIV/Aids? Perhaps your hearing or eyesight is impaired or you have a heart problem or never-ending back pain. Whatever it is, this is where we are going to put an end to it. This is where your own faith comes into play, that is, your own faith in the faith of Jesus. Salvation meant DELIVERANCE for you – deliverance from eternal condemnation, deliverance from poverty and deliverance from sickness.
And you accepted that deliverance from sickness when you confessed your belief in Him. You were redeemed from the Curse of the Law. You live under the New Covenant that makes you a sweet fragrance to God in Christ from Life to Life.
Complete deliverance was the impact upon the human race when Jesus hung on the Cross. And, “Surely he hath borne our griefs (sicknesses), and carried our sorrows (pain); yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities (sin); upon him was the chastisement that MADE US WHOLE; and with his stripes (punishment) WE ARE HEALED.” (Isaiah 53:4,5
It is done! It is finished! It is past tense! The moment you believe and receive Jesus Christ as your Saviour, the MANIFESTATION of this provision, this finished work, takes place in your spirit first, and then in your body. God knows it and expects you to know it. Jesus knew it and that is why He confidently gave the commission for you to go and tell the world. This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.
Even before Jesus went to the Cross He started the process of healing for all who were brought to Him. “And when evening was come, they brought unto him many possessed with demons: and he cast out the spirits with a word, and HEALED ALL THAT WERE SICK: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: Himself took OUR INFIRMITIES, and bare OUR DISEASES.” (Mt 8:16,17)
This is why He came – to save our souls and to heal our bodies. You now stand SAVED and HEALED. And you are therefore in a position to fulfil that commission.
The words of your mouth can either ensnare you or set you free. Your words either come from a fallen spirit or a re-created spirit. If from the latter, then it means you have heard the Gospel, reached out with that inherent measure of faith to God from your fallen spirit, and entered the Kingdom of God. You were born again when you accepted and received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. When this happened you were “LOCKED IN” for Salvation and you were “LOCKED IN” for HEALING.
Your body has NO OPTION but to OBEY the Word of God. And it is important for you to KNOW that is God’s WILL for you to be healed as is made clear in Psalm 103:1-5. “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits; who forgives all your iniquities; who heals ALL your diseases;”
Does this sound like God wants to withhold healing from your body?
By the confession of your mouth you believed unto Salvation. And by the confession of your mouth you are now going to believe unto to the COMPLETENESS of this act of Salvation, namely, HEALING for your body.
END OF SECTION OF THE BOOK
Now, are you ready? Okay, together, we are going to declare with absolute conviction and confidence the words of our confession. Let’s say it audibly and let the voice of our spirit, the Word of God’s power within us, do the work.
Perhaps you should first read through the confession hereunder and then commence to read out aloud the confession with a confident, heartfelt conviction, bearing in mind that the words you speak out will be coming from your spirit and given voice by your physical body, of which you (your spirit) are in charge. Your body has no alternative but to submit to a regenerated spirit speaking forth from heavenly places in Christ, for “he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.”
This article is being published in several websites and thousands will be reading it at different times, but God will see it as one sitting by many. Therefore, the faith of many will be in support of your faith as you confess the healing of your body.
“Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Mt 18:19,20)
HERE IS YOUR CONFESSION:
My body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed and sanctified by the Blood of Jesus. Therefore, the devil has no place in me and no power over me.
I have become the righteousness of God in Christ.
I have forgiven others like God has forgiven me.
I have the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Whatsoever I loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.
Whatsoever I bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven.
I have been redeemed from the Curse of the Law.
Salvation from spiritual death, sickness and poverty is mine.
By the faith of Jesus Christ within me and by the confession of my mouth, I confirm that the power of bondage over me is broken.
Therefore, by the stripes of Jesus I was healed. In the Name of Jesus I command that this spirit of (name it – whether it be cancer, diabetes, deafness, back pain, high blood pressure or whatever) should leave my body NOW, never to return.
I now stand before God, free and completely healed – from the top of my head to the soles of my feet.
END OF YOUR CONFESSION
It is done. Stand by your confession no matter what the devil whispers in your ear or the doubt others try to impose on you. It is your body, not theirs. There is no need for you to repeat the entire confession, except to say, “I was healed by the stripes of Jesus. Therefore, I NO LONGER have any ailment or disease of any nature in my body. I now stand before God, free and completely healed.”
