It’s Time to take back your Power and Authority

It’s Time to take back your Power and Authority

Our clear understanding of what lies behind the generation of our thoughts and words is of vital importance. Only once this is fully grasped will we be able to recognise the problem and set ourselves free from the things that bind us in life, whether in our personal relationships or at the workplace – and including the condition of our health.

I want to make this so clear that it would be impossible not to understand it. And if it is suddenly understood by anyone reading this message they would probably run out into the street and start dancing and singing in the rain, hail or sunshine regardless of what the neighbours think. Get ready to open your front door. You’re about to be unleashed.

When it comes to the reality of life most people go no further than simply considering themselves to be a member of something called the human race living on a planet located in this part of the universe. Perhaps you consider yourself to be a cut above the rest because of your education and achievements in life. Regardless of the opinion you might have of yourself, let’s look at what makes you and everyone else a member of the human race.

Did you know that no human inhabitant of this planet has any control over his own life unless he has knowledge of the realities that govern this world? The tragedies and disasters in this world are testaments to the fact that most people are oblivious to the truth.

Here is the reality. Our physical world – and every human being in it – is totally under the control of unseen spiritual forces, both that of Darkness and that of Light. Both of these forces have been and still are determining the circumstances of your life and your consummate fate lies in their hands. However, you can actually manipulate either of these forces to your advantage. Let me rephrase that. You can overthrow the power of the forces of Darkness, for they have been your enemy number one, and you can influence the power of the forces of Light, for they can’t wait to be of service to you. It is a matter of knowing how it works. (If you stop reading now you’ll never do that dance.)

Before you can even think of turning your attention to these spiritual forces you need to learn something about your own make-up as a human being. What you need to know and understand is that you are no less spiritual than these invisible forces. A major difference between you and them is that you wear a coat of flesh and bone. In other words, the spiritual you has a physical body through which the spiritual you finds animation. This is what makes you a human being. The spiritual forces of Light and Darkness also have bodies – spiritual bodies that cannot be seen by the human race. You were designed and created to make your presence felt in this terrestrial realm while they were designed and created to make their presence felt in the spiritual world within the celestial realm. However, the earth is a physical sphere within that celestial realm and, therefore, poses no obstacle to them. The physical realm is a product of the spiritual dimension and these spiritual forces are able to move right through anything that is physical. With our physical bodies removed we can do the same, but we were not designed to live outside of our physical bodies, for we are a special creation and we will not be able to operate outside of that limitation for that reason.

The fact that we are spirit beings first is clearly depicted in 2Cor. 5:10. Note in this verse that “every one” makes reference to a living being inside of a physical body, the “every one” is the spirit of a person. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”

Spiritual interaction
It is of crucial importance to grab a hold of what comes next. We, and those forces, are essentially spiritual beings and as such we can communicate with each other. The difference is that they can see us but we cannot see them. We are ‘locked’ inside physical bodies and we rely upon our physical senses to ‘feed’ our spirit with earthbound experiences. They see and hear us clearly and we hear their words as if they were our very own thoughts. Our knowledge of the difference between good and evil comes into play when we decide whether or not to speak out or act out those thoughts that were ‘planted’ in our spiritual minds that appear to be our own. We often hear of criminals testifying in court that they heard voices instructing them to perform heinous acts against their victims. The courts regard such criminals to be mentally unstable and have them psychiatrically evaluated, supposedly to get to the root of the problem.

Think of your own life and all the thoughts that run through your mind on a daily basis. Your thoughts are definitely not always your own and you cannot argue that your words and actions (in responding to those thoughts) have many a time caused you to make mistakes of a wicked kind. Perhaps you have judged others, making derogatory statements about them or you have taken something that does not belong to you, such as stationery items from your workplace. Every single thing you say or do is preceded by a thought on the matter. Even prideful behaviour is a thought-provoked display of self-importance or an expression of superiority over the intellectual level of others.

Expressions of resentment, rebellion, sarcasm, discontent, anger, malice, vindictiveness, unbelief, jealousy and vengeance – accompanied by actions and body language to support such outbursts, are clear indications of demonic mind control. Such demon-invoked emotions are designed to destroy lives and relationships.

Let me make this a stand-alone paragraph to elucidate what I’ve covered in the previous paragraph concerning our thoughts. Our thoughts are unspoken words and until we speak them they remain just thoughts. Once those thoughts are spoken they become creative words laden with power with which to bring about the desired effect, which may be to build up or to break down. Our thoughts are not conjured up by our brain. It is in our spirit where those thoughts rise up as deliberated by the mind of our own spirit or instilled by the enemy. The human brain is used to channel the words of the spirit to the outside world and it is the spirit that empowers the functioning of the brain. In other words, without our spirit the brain would be dead. Our physical brain is merely the spirit-empowered organ by means of which our spirit can generate utterance to our spiritual thoughts. The brain is always on standby to receive the ‘order’ to activate the vocal cords to form and give sound to the words coming through from the spirit. Our tongue is the final instrument of sound and it is this organ that determines the outcome. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” (Prov. 18:21)

It should be understood that the life of man – his consciousness and individuality as a living entity – is his spirit. Man’s physical body merely forms the covering for the real life within. Speaking of man as a whole, God stated in Genesis of the man He created that he “also is flesh”. (Gen.6:3). This certainly makes it clear that man is first and foremost a spirit, but he is also flesh. The flesh part of man, the physical house, performs the outward expression of the inner man, the spirit. “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” (James 2:26)

Let me say at this point that the human race has been so conditioned by ‘alien’ incursions into our thought life that they don’t even need to keep it up on a continuous basis. We tend to think as we have been trained to think and it now forms part of our very own nature. Anger, bitterness, hatred, slander and unforgiveness are some of the emotional garbage stored up in our spiritual make-up as a result of our exposure to these very real forces of darkness.

Spiritual eternity
What we need to truly grasp and understand is that both human creatures and the unseen spiritual entities exist as eternal beings. This means that we, as spiritual beings, will never cease to exist in spirit form. The difference between us and the angelic forces of both Light and Darkness is that they can move in and out of their environment of no time into our physical realm of time with ease, whereas we are locked into our environment of time. Only once we (our spirits) shed our physical house can we enter the realm of no time and actually see the other side. However, because we were created to exist as human creatures, our spirits are prohibited from operating amongst the angelic forces. Our spirits will return to God, returned in the sense that there will be a temporary continuation of our spiritual existence at a destination determined by our conduct as former earthbound creatures. That temporary existence will either be in heaven or in hell. Those in heaven will, once again, receive their physical bodies, but in glorified form, at the appointed time. The appointed time is an event referred to as the resurrection of the just. Life will then be continued in the eternal realm (of no time) for those who have participated in this resurrection, having received their glorified bodies in which they will be able to operate in the spiritual realm, that is, move through anything that is physical and travel from place to place in the blink of an eye. Their home ground will, once again, be Planet Earth. Those in hell (because of the nature of their conduct on earth) will also be resurrected at an appointed time but, sadly, it will be for the purpose of final judgement and sentence to eternity in hell in spiritual form.

We are, therefore, human creatures living on this planet for the purpose of fulfilling the God-given plan for our temporary earthbound lives that will determine our final destination. It is our duty to find out what that God-given plan is. It is a plan that consists of a way of life that empowers us to overcome the forces of darkness in no uncertain terms. The human race either has to continue living under the influence and direction of the god of this world (Satan) and his fallen angels and demons – or change direction. This may sound unfair, but the blame for our conduct rests with us and not with the invisible forces of evil. The reason for this is simply because we are free moral agents having freedom of choice. Once we know the truth, the choice becomes easy and it will set us free. But if we reject the truth and prefer the ways of this condemned satanic world then we will have made our choice. It’s really that simple. Here’s the affirmation. “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God abides for ever.” (1John 2:15-17)

Don’t misunderstand this; the world we are not to love is the world under the choice of those who love the godless lifestyles and array of attractions as laid out by the prince of this world, namely, Satan. This is made clear to us in Ephesians 6:11,12. “Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places

You need to make the right choice concerning the direction you want to take and once you do you are going to learn how to talk back to those dark forces causing them to flee at the sound of your voice. Stay with me and get ready to put on your dancing shoes.

Our stolen authority
Now for a big surprise. The reason God puts the blame on us and holds us accountable is because we have handed over our very own power to the forces of darkness which they use to weaken and destroy us. Without our power they cannot do a thing to influence our thinking and actions. Angelic beings have absolutely no authority on this earth and are prohibited from either directly doing us physical harm or directly destroying our possessions or man-made structures.  If they were, human life would have been destroyed a long time ago. In fact, Adam and Eve would have been the first and the last human creatures to taste life on this planet. Planet Earth is the domain of man. God is the owner and we are the sole stewards as decreed by God. Here’s the decree.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Gen. 1:26-28)

So how do they use our power to bring about death and destruction in our world? First of all, they had to gain the right to use our authority and they accomplished that in the Garden of Eden when Adam handed over the power of that authority to Satan. Note that this act did not hand over our dominion to them; it merely granted the right for them use us as human agents to do their bidding. This is where our thought life enters the picture. We have become so conditioned to wickedness from having our thought life captured by dark spiritual forces that it has become part of our nature to do and speak evil without being reminded by them.

It is the freedom of choice that caused Adam to appoint Satan as Commander-in Chief of the power and authority of the human race. It was a legal act brought about by deception. He now commands and we do. We are his agents to slander, steal from, kill and destroy our fellow human beings. If God had banished Satan forever as a result of this deception He would have had to bring an immediate end to the lives of Adam and Eve as well. The decay in the behaviour of the human race and the billions of lives lost in the killing fields of the world due to pride, greed, hatred and lust for power have come about as a direct result of our very own power and authority being commandeered by Satan and his fallen angels and demons. In essence, we are as fallen as the forces of darkness. This makes us a unified evil force to the point of self-destruction.

Just briefly; After the Noahic flood the entire population of the earth came from the loins of the three sons of Noah, namely, Ham, Shem and Japheth. From these emerged 7 great, but Satan-inspired empires complete with occulted forms of government raised to maraud and conquer the areas of the world existing at their respective times of reign. It started with Egypt and then Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome. The current one, the 7th, is known as Mystery Babylon which, in its next form will become the 8th. Mystery Babylon is now in control of the whole world by proxy of countries that do not even realise that they are being used to further the aims of this empire. The point is that all of these empires came to being as a result of the influence of the dark spiritual forces using the power and authority of individuals to form and lead their empires to steal, kill and destroy out of greed and hunger for power.

Well, it is time for us to take back our lives, restore our birthright and retake dominion over the earth and everything in it.

Where do we start? We start by getting rid of the one thing that God hates the most – and that is pride. Pride stands as a barrier between us and God and it is the very thing that dealt a death blow to Lucifer (now Satan) and the first thing that Satan instilled in the human race to secure our spiritual death and separation from God. “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” (Prov. 8:13)

However, it is purely a matter of being cleansed through the shed blood of Jesus Christ and fully committing your life to Him. Many who are filled with pride find this hard to do and even if they do pray they do so with an insincere heart, not willing to relinquish their self-importance and superior attitude. This, of course, is clearly seen by God and He will leave the person to their own devices until their pride leads to a fall. So let’s take care of this pride thing before we tackle those dark forces.

Pride and unforgiveness – the Greatest Killers of All Time
Handed down to us from Satan through Adam was the very thing that brought about our fall from grace and the death penalty. It was the combination of pride, unforgiveness and vengeance. The three go together hand in glove. They are bosom buddies.

It was pride and self-importance that drove Lucifer (Satan) to rebel against God. This same spirit of self-importance is what destroys relationships between members of the human race and makes way for the manifestation of sicknesses and diseases.

There are those who thrive on imposing their self-acclaimed superior understanding of everything under the sun over the intellect of others. They reject correction, preferring to bask in their prideful arrogance, which is why they find it difficult to submit their lives to the authority of Jesus Christ. The Bible refers to it as haughtiness and/or loftiness. Here is what God has to say about those who wilfully follow in the footsteps of Satan.

Prov 16:5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

Prov 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Isa 2:12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Isa 13:11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Isa 2:11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

Pride can be likened to a bow that launches an arrow of unforgiveness in revenge upon an unsuspecting victim. But it is the wielder of the bow who falls prey to sickness and loss. The spirit of pride brings about rottenness to the flesh and brittleness to the bones.

It is absolutely clear from the mouth of God that pride, the generator of self-importance, unforgiveness and arrogance, is an abomination to Him.

Pride and unforgiveness form the breeding ground for physical and mental ill-health and the paving stones for the road to self-destruction.

If God intends to destroy those who harbour pride and unforgiveness in their hearts then, surely, we should be wise enough to pay serious attention to the matter. The following verses of Scripture should be enough to make us want to have a complete change of mind.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Mark 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

From the above it stands to reason that unforgiveness severs us from help from Him in time of trouble. After all, this the reason for the Cross – the place where forgiveness was imparted so that we could be set free from the penalty of eternal death and condemnation because of our pride and nature of unforgiveness. If we cannot forgive, then why should God forgive us? “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” (Mt 6:14,15)

When we die our spirit can no longer display pride and unforgiveness through a dead body. Our death on the Cross in Jesus Christ and resurrection in Him transformed us into brand new, born again human beings having shed our spirit-driven pride and unforgiveness. We took on the life and spiritual nature of the One who now lives within us, the One filled with joy, peace, love and forgiveness.

And that is what makes us, as born again sons and daughters of God, receive what we ask for in prayer and be able to walk in health and boldly declare, “The blood of Jesus has cleansed me of all unrighteousness. I am now one with Jesus, living by His faith, and by His stripes I am healed of all ailments, sicknesses and diseases and pride no longer fills my heart.”

Turn it all around
Now that we are absolutely clear about pride and the blockage it might cause and If you have not as yet reclaimed your birthright, then now is the time to do so. All you need to do is to thank God, in prayer, for sending His Son to pay the penalty for your condition of sin and to ask Jesus to come into your heart and be your Lord and Saviour. He does not care about your past or your present – only your future.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2Cor. 5:17)

Did you hear that? Everything in your old life becomes dead and buried. All the pages of your book of life up to now will have no further meaning in your life – and more importantly – God no longer cares about them and no longer sees them. Your book of life re-starts with brand new words and deeds. There are ‘autograph hunters’ (family, friends and children) out there looking for a new book to talk about, cherish and embrace. Let it be your book.

From now on you will have the help of the Master Editor, the Holy Spirit, to guide the mind of your spirit in compiling further pages. You can be assured, you are going to make some mistakes, but unlike the former pages of your book of life, you will be able to render those mistakes of no consequence by confessing them to the Father and asking for forgiveness. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1John 1:9)

Spiritual rebirth takes place the moment the prayer of repentance is said. God honours the commitment and regenerates the spirit of the person who comes to Him in prayer for salvation and that person becomes born again.

This means that your slate is wiped clean – the past pages of your book of life are no longer taken into account by God and spiritually, you’re literally born again. After all, you are a spiritual being – and for the very first time you are spiritually connected to God and have access to the throne of God. “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: “ (Col 1:13)

You are no longer spiritually dead. From this point forward the Holy Spirit takes up residence within your spirit and the Kingdom of God is now within you.

A new chapter
Now you are ready to take on those depraved fallen angels and take charge of your life by the power that is in you. Also, now the holy angels of God are in a position – because of your renewed life – to respond to the words of your mouth by scattering the forces of darkness on your behalf. You are now a human powerhouse in motion energised by the words of your mouth. And those words are launched by the power of your tongue. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” (Prov. 18:21)

You have renewed your mind by coming to the knowledge of the truth. Your thought life is now secured and the spirit of your mind will no longer entertain the incursion of those dark forces who seek to utilise your power and authority. Only your own thoughts and words will determine your actions and only you will utilise your God-given power and authority over this planet.

All you need now is to add little further knowledge to what you have just read. And then you can go dancing in the street.

Seated in Heavenly Places
Did you know that your area of existence as a human being expanded from your physical abode on earth to a place in the heavenly, spiritual realm right next to Jesus where he is seated and you now operate from within that realm?

This means that your life is lived both in heaven and on earth at the same time. Therefore, whatever you say is heard, simultaneously, in heaven, between heaven and earth, and on earth.

Did you know that you became one spirit with Jesus and that is why you are able to be there, in the heavenly realm, with him? “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” (1Cor. 6:17)

The fact of your UNION with Christ and your dwelling in the spiritual realm is clearly illustrated in Eph. 2:4 – 6. “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us TOGETHER with Christ (by grace ye are saved), and has raised us up TOGETHER, and made us sit TOGETHER in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

Our citizenship is in Heaven, but we have a job to do on earth. We are the Body of Christ, which is in Heaven and on earth. We are in SPIRITUAL UNION with Christ for as long as we remain in our physical bodies on earth. Our empowerment comes through the Holy Spirit, Who has placed us in the Kingdom of God. And that Kingdom is within us. This is how we can be both in Heaven and on earth at the same time. We are already seated in Heaven where Christ is and Christ is wherever we are on earth.

If we are spiritually seated in heavenly places together with Christ, even while we are physically present on earth, then our conduct, wherever we find ourselves, should be as if we are conducting ourselves right before the sight and hearing of Jesus. “For our conversation is in heaven”. (Eph. 3:20) In other words, when you speak to anyone – whether it is a fellow student, a work colleague or your spouse – you should converse with them as if you are seated right there in that heavenly place, with Jesus overhearing your every word. We should live our lives in constant awareness of this.

As members of the Body of Christ, the Church, we have privileges that far exceed our expectations. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” (Eph 1:3)

Jesus said, “… I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

Jesus is the head of the Church, his Body, and we are members of that Body. When Jesus was raised from the dead to be set at the right hand of the Father, he was set “Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:” (Eph 1:21)

And we now sit together with Christ in that heavenly position because we are his Body, the Church, and as such we are far above “every name that is named”, meaning, we are in charge and have authority over everything that is evil in this world, whatever name it goes by. The name of Jesus is the name we go by to overcome any other name, wherever that name exists.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father
.” (Php 2:9-11)

When we, the Church, seated together with Christ in heavenly places and making our presence felt in the earth, use the name of Jesus, then things happen wherever we want it to happen.

Jesus said, “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven, For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Mt 18:18 – 20)

This is authority beyond comprehension – and we have that authority. Whatsoever we forbid on earth shall be forbidden in heaven – and whatsoever we allow on earth shall be allowed in heaven. We don’t need permission from our heavenly Father – we already have it as the Body of Christ and we know what the will of the Father is because we have the mind of Christ within us.

In addition to the power of authority we have to bind and to loose on earth, we may also ask in prayer for anything, as long as two or three agree. There are many of us in the Body of the Church. Only two or three are needed to agree in order to receive what we ask for.

Now let’s get down to business. There is a certain name that has come up in our world. It belongs to an evil, destructive force and its name is being named over and over, giving more and more power to its name. We need to destroy that name and vanquish it from the earth forever. It should not be allowed to continue its destructive action one day longer.

That name is Covid-19 sent from the gates of hell.

As the Church, we have a Name – the Name of Jesus – that is far above that name. And the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church.

Are you ready? Let’s do it.

“In the Name of Jesus we come against the name, Covid-19. We bind your name and your destructive force right now and we destroy you completely, never for you to come up again in any form or name. Amen.”

IT IS DONE!

Are there any other names you wish to take care of? Don’t allow those forces of darkness to tell you that you’re a failure. Failure is a name. Take care of it. Don’t let them convince you that a disease has overtaken you. Diseases have names. Take care of those names. The same goes for debt, stress and anything standing in the way of succeeding in life. You have power and authority and a tongue to make it happen.

Faith is voice activated
What an astonishing statement – there is something out there, called faith, which is responsible for everything that exists and it is voice activated. In its simplest application we use it every day without thinking twice. We use it for getting out of bed each morning, for making breakfast and for going about our daily business, but when it comes to using the most powerful aspect of it we switch over to fear mode – which is something that shuts the door to faith. It is like having hope while knowing the thing desired is beyond reach.

So what is faith and what do we need it for? Simply put, faith is a living entity on standby to bring forth change in our lives whereby our needs – and even wants – are met. We might be struggling financially, have huge emotional problems or have a lingering disease that won’t go away and we are mentally screaming for help that seems out of reach. Faith can change all that.

The reality is that the basic form of what we need already exists in the invisible realm waiting for an instruction, but it can only take shape once the order is given for it to be produced. And it is produced by faith. Better still, it is created by faith. Faith turns nothing into something. We need to give that something a name in order for faith to create it. Faith is a substance out of which the desired thing is formed for output in the visible realm in which we live. And we need to look upon faith as the absolute proof of the end result. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Heb 11:1)

And so we find faith waiting in the wings for someone to say something and it will not budge until it is said. Although faith is voice activated, it is activated only by a voice that knows what it wants and knows that faith will create it. And for that to happen we need to be plugged in to the power that turns faith on in order for it to start the “manufacturing” process.

It is faith that created everything in existence and once we fully understand this we should be in a position to use it to create what we earnestly desire in our lives. “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” (Heb 11:3)

Faith is an attribute of God and he passed on that attribute to us here on earth. God so much wants us to use it and to actually live by it that He regards it as impossible to please Him should we not do so. This is made clear in Heb 10:38. “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.”
We see it reaffirmed in Heb 11:6. “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

God has placed the necessary power in us through Jesus Christ through whom we activate faith by the words of our mouth. It is Christ within us that moves faith on our behalf and we receive what we need to the extent to which we actually believe this truth. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,” (Eph 3:20)

What the quoted verse is saying is that we receive abundantly, but only in accordance to the measure of our personal belief in the power that works in us. If we are feeble in our belief in the power of Jesus within us then what we receive will equate to our belief.

So we see then that God’s power is at our disposal and we have the authority to use it because of Jesus in us. In effect, we are living for Him and by Him and in His place here on earth, so why should we live in poverty and with sicknesses and diseases? Obviously, if we desire health and wealth for the purpose of pursuing the pleasure of this life then it is powerless luck we need and not powerful faith.

The bottom line is, if we consider Jesus in us to be an absolute reality, then we can talk to our sickness and talk to our bank accounts and faith will do the rest. You see, God has already given us the ability to do it ourselves in the name of Jesus, so why pray and ask for something that has already been done?

Faith is voice activated – so let’s start speaking. “I have been redeemed, cleansed and sanctified by the blood of Jesus. I am healed of all sicknesses and diseases from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. All my needs and desires are met as per the promises of God and my finances are undergoing a positive change. I am an heir of God through Jesus Christ and therefore what belongs to Him also belongs to me. I now partake of the wealth in this world laid up for God’s children and my bank account balance is increasing as I speak and declare in the name of Jesus. Amen”

Can you hear faith start working? Keep on speaking and do so as if nothing will stop it from happening. See your needs approaching the end of the production line.

God, “In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.” (Job 12:10) will hasten His word to bring about what we speak in faith because it pleases Him. It also means that we will have entered the Kingdom of which we are the subjects with the privileges that go with it.

THAT INCREDIBLE POWER WITHIN US

THERE IS A MASSIVE CONCENTRATION OF THE MOST INCREDIBLE POWER IN THE UNIVERSE MANIFESTED IN THOSE WHO ARE CHRIST’S. “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” (1Cor. 6:17)

That SPIRIT/POWER is at work in us. We need only to think, let alone ask. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,” (Eph. 3:20)

That POWER is at our disposal. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” (John 14:12-14)

That POWER enables us to carry out our purpose. “And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matt. 28:18-20)

That POWER is evident because of what we do and also provides protection. “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” (Mark 16:17.18)

And as if that is not enough POWER, here’s the real clincher. Being reconciled to God and being one with Him, we once again have dominion over all the earth – even able to subdue it, such as taking control of the weather elements and calling for rain where it is needed.

Gen 1:26. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
Gen. 1:27. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
Gen. 1:28. “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

And if that is not convincing enough, here’s confirmation of that dominion POWER. “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” (Mark 11:23”

If His faith is in us – and it is because we are one spirit – we only need to say it, say it, say it.

That’s the dominion side of POWER. It requires word action from our side.

Then there are the things we desire personally, which do not fall under the dominion-power category. “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:24)

That’s the prayer side of POWER for having personal desires met. It requires prayer and belief, belief, belief.

All we need to do is to remain conscious of who and what we are in Christ. We will never be perfect, but guess who is perfect? – Christ in us. Constant awareness of this fact should be enough for us to abide in Him. “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” (John 15:7)

We are free, free, free. “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36)

So what is the bottom line to all of this? We need to stop crying to God in beggarly fashion. We need to start believing instead of hoping. We need to start being what He has made us – and that is dominion-powered, faith-driven sons and daughters of God.

We are co-heirs with Christ in the here and now. All the cattle on a thousand hills belong to Him and therefore to us. Every inch of land above sea level is a hill and we have dominion over it. All power (authority) has been given to Him in heaven AND in earth, THEREFORE, we are EMPOWERED by His presence within us. There is absolutely nothing greater than what we already have.

Do we need rain? Let’s call those rain clouds to gather where we need them in the name of Jesus and bring down the rain.

Do we have personal needs and even desires? Let’s ask in prayer and believe that we have what we ask for at that very moment.

We need to follow the example of that centurion in Matthew 8 and hear Jesus saying the same thing about us. “When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.” (Mt 8:10)

Let’s cause Jesus to marvel at us too.

Is your front door beckoning?
